Suzanne Remy
Owner and Occupational Therapist
I’m Suzanne, and my story is proof that healing isn’t a straight line—it’s a winding, messy, and often unexpected journey. At 35, I found myself standing at a crossroads, forced to completely redefine who I was after facing some unexpected truths. That experience opened my eyes to the deep, transformative power of true healing, and now I’m all about helping others tap into that same strength, balance, and clarity.
With a B.S.E. in Kinesiology, a B.S. in Nursing, and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, I’ve spent years working in physical rehabilitation, pediatrics, and trauma recovery. My background as a registered nurse exposed me to the complexities of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, postpartum care, and developmental challenges. But I knew there was more to healing than just addressing the physical symptoms. That’s when I started integrating deeper mind-body approaches.
My own personal battles with hormone imbalances, food intolerances, medical complexities, and chronic stress taught me the importance of working from the inside out. I learned to rewire my nervous system and reclaim my health through modalities like Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI), myofascial release, lymphatic work, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation. Along the way, I became certified in yoga, children’s yoga, and aerial yoga because movement is medicine, and when combined with mindfulness, it’s a game-changer. In my therapeutic sessions, I draw on a wide range of tools to meet each person where they are. Whether it’s yoga, aerial yoga, mindfulness, emotional release techniques, or more traditional occupational therapy, my approach is holistic and deeply rooted in the mind-body connection. I also use shadow work and inner child healing, blending spiritual and psychological techniques to help release old patterns, heal trauma, and build a stronger, more resilient sense of self. And let’s not forget, spirituality is a big part of the healing process too. Whether it’s through quiet reflection, mindful movement, or embracing a greater sense of purpose, I believe that healing goes beyond just the body. It’s about tapping into the soul and allowing it to guide the way.
My mission? To empower others to take control of their health, embrace their authentic selves, and rewrite their own stories. Healing is hard work, but with the right tools and support, it’s absolutely possible—and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
