The members of the Resilient Community Advisory Board are parents and professionals from a variety of backgrounds that share a common passion for serving and leading others forward. They understand the impact that a constantly stimulating environment can have on the brain and body and help educate and promote the benefits of occupational therapy. Their service creates a connection between the community and the therapeutic perspective. This helps to keep Resilient’s mission up to date and current to align with ever changing community needs.
Britney Watson

Restorative Justice Practitioner
Britney Watson, 36, has served as the principal of Morrison Elementary School for the past six years. Her primary leadership initiatives have been a school-wide collaborative culture, restorative practices, social-emotional learning, and systematic reading instruction.
A mother of two children, her interest in child development goes beyond the classroom and into the home. She advocates for holistic trauma informed practices to serve both her children and students.
Toney Franklin
Toney is a Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual. He has a passion for spreading financial literacy for individuals and businesses across the country. Toney has been in the financial services industry for over 8 years. His focus is financial planning which involves investments, retirement planning, insurances, budgeting, long- term care, 529 and other education planning.

Marco Vazquez grew up in the food service industry and is now owner of Del Sol Mexican Grill in Fort Smith, AR. He takes pride in serving his customers and his community. Marco is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. Being bilingual and having a B.S. in Criminal Justice has given him a unique perspective to bring people and communities together. Marco also enjoys playing and coaching soccer.
